An accomplished sailor, he has completed competitive Atlantic Ocean crossings and multiple long distance ocean races based out of Antigua, Bermuda and Newport, Rhode Island, USA.
He is a two-time Ironman, recently completing the gruelling full Ironman distance (3.8km swim/180km bike/42km run) endurance event where he managed to raise much needed funds for the Perth Children's Hospital Foundation.
In 2023, he also completed a 19.8km solo crossing of the Rottnest Channel Swim in 8 hrs and 19 minutes.
